First time visiting the Stocks and Shillings pub and wow! We are not from poulton but this will definitely be a regular pub we visit. The price of drinks is much lower then expected from the look of the pub. Staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Overall very impressed. Decor amazing.
Great atmosphere for some early drinks before heading to bars in Poulton at the weekend. I've been here several times and always had a good experience.
Staff member called Jordan is extremely rude not coming again He has completely ruined here for me. Swearing and shouting and arguing with people! Being very rude to us! used to love this place!
Nicely decorated and a lot of money spent on it transforming it from a bank to a pub. Lacks atmosphere for me and drinks are quite expensive. Definitely worse pubs though.
Lovely pub!
A rare evening out with the better half! We visited prior to a table being booked next door! Have visited here before, same experience again! Very clean, great selection of ales, wines and spirits. Very tasty cask ale! Wasn't overly expensive either! Lovely venue!
We sat upstairs, got busy a little later on but was still room to sit and chat! No issues here and will definitely visit again when we're allowed back out! 🤣

Visited the pub with friends last night. We were made to feel very welcome by Ayesha, drinks were great and reasonably priced. Entertainment was good too. Will definitely visit again. Very comfortable pub too.
Saw the live band The Quarantinos last night. Really good acoustics in an old bank building with plenty if seating including a gallery area. Drinks are not the cheapest but with the live music still made fir a great evening. Wasn't too busy for a Thursday
A former bank, converted into a bar, really nicely converted, high ceilings, mezzanine balcony level, quality decor, friendly staff, centrally located in the small market town... fairly quiet on a Thursday night, but excellent trio playing music, good night out was had.
